Minimising mistakes with merge tags

We've all been there. Sent a proposal then checked it over after sending only to see the last company you wrote a proposal for plastered all over it. It's not a good look. Fortunately, with Better Proposals, you can make a change and as long as they haven't opened it, they'll never know.

That said, what about never having that issue in the first place? Enter, merge tags.

Now, all you need to do is write your merge tags anywhere on:

  • The email to the client
  • The cover
  • The proposal
  • A template
  • A cover template
  • The 'thank you' page and email
  • The 'make a payment' page

These are the merge tags that you can use:

Note: The {{first_name}}, {{surname}} and {{email_address}} tags will only be populated on the live proposal once you have sent it as each recipient receives a unique link.
