What is VAT

VAT (value added tax) is a tax that is charged on goods and services bought and sold within the European Union. As of 1st April 2018, we are a VAT registered company (Registration number: 289758227), and as such, we are obligated to charge VAT at the current rate of 20% on our prices. This only applies to certain countries (see below).

Does it apply to me?

If you are based in the UK, you will be charged VAT at 20%.

If you are based in a non-UK country within the European Union, then you will be charged VAT at 20%, unless you provide a valid VAT number meaning VAT is reduced to 0%.

You can add your VAT information by hovering over your profile picture (in the top right corner of your Dashboard) and accessing Settings from there. Next, click 'Account Details' under the Admin category in the menu on the left hand side and scroll down to add your VAT details at the bottom.

If you are based in any other country outside of the European Union, VAT will not be charged to you at all and you may see it appear on your invoices as 0%.
