How to Add a Table

  1. Access the Toolbar:

    • Click on your content block and move to a blank line by pressing Enter or the Down Arrow key. A toolbar will appear.

  2. Insert a Table:

    • From the toolbar, select the table icon and choose the number of rows and columns you need.

Customizing Your Table

  • Adjust Borders:

    • By default, internal vertical borders are transparent.

    • To modify them, right-click on the table and select Table Properties > Advanced, then adjust the border settings as needed.

  • Set General Table Properties:

    • In the General tab of Table Properties, you can configure:

      • Width and Height: Adjust the table’s size.

      • Cell Spacing and Padding: Control the space between and inside cells.

      • Border Width: Change the thickness of the table border.

      • Alignment: Align the table to your preference.

Optimizing Tables for Mobile Responsiveness

  • If you set the Width and Height properties in pixels, the table will become scrollable on mobile devices. This could also result in text being presented vertically due to the width adjustment on smaller screens.

  • To maintain responsiveness or preserve an aspect ratio, set the Width and Height properties to 100%. This ensures the table adjusts dynamically to fit the screen size.

Editing Your Table

  • When you click on your table, a toolbar will appear with options to:

    • Add or Delete Rows and Columns

    • Access Table Properties for further adjustments.

Inserting Images into Your Table

You can include images directly inside your table cells using one of these methods:

  • Paste Images: Copy an image and use your keyboard shortcut to paste it into a cell.

  • Drag and Drop:

    • Drag an image from another content block or within the same content block into the desired cell.

    • Drag the image file directly into the table cell.

By following these steps, you can create, customize, and optimize tables to enhance your content while keeping it optimal on any device. :)
