It is possible to load two images side by side into your proposals. Simply insert two images into the text editor using the insert image icon, not via the full width option. Align them both left, or one left and one right and they should automatically rescale to sit next to each other nicely.

Step 1: Call up the editing menu in your proposal by pressing Enter onto a new line. Then click the image icon and insert your first image. Once inserted, press enter again to call up the editing menu below your first image and insert your second image.

Step 2: Click on your first image and a then click the align left icon, then click your second image and repeat this process and both your images will be alongside each-other.
