Getting the Advanced Hubspot Integration setup so you can optimise the integration and save more time.

The Advanced Hubspot integration is an Enterprise-only feature that allows deeper integration with Hubspot - including the ability to:

  • Search for contacts as well as companies.

  • Sync your merge tags with your Hubspot company properties

  • Sync your Hubspot deal stages with the document milestones within Better Proposals so they progress automatically.

  • Use the Document Launcher to quickly create a document in Better Proposals from an Existing deal or contact in HubSpot.

Step 1 - Getting Connected

Note: If you already have the basic Hubspot integration setup, you'll need to disconnect that first and then connect to the Advanced Hubspot integration.

Firstly, go to Settings > Integrations > CRM > Advanced Hubspot Integration

Connect your account by following the on-screen instructions and once successful, you should be presented with this screen:

At this point, you can now click 'Next' in the bottom right and progress to the next step

Step 2 - Deal stages

here you'll be able to sync your Deal stages with the status of your documents. When each status is changed in Better Proposals, this will automatically update the corresponding deal stage in Hubspot. Just go ahead and link the appropriate Document status to the deal stage and click 'Match Selected'

Once you've matched your selections, click Next and move on to Step 3.

Step 3 - Merge Company Properties

Note: If you haven't gone ahead and set up any custom merge tags yet, you can do so by following the instructions here

Similar to the deal stages, you simply need to match up your Custom merge tags inside Better Proposals with the Company Properties inside Hubspot - once you've done that, you can move on to step 4.

Step - 4 Document Launcher in Hubspot

Once you've installed the document launcher, you'll get the confirmation page to let you know this was successful:

Now the document launcher is enabled, you'll see the 'Create a Better Proposals Document' section on the right-hand side whenever you're viewing an existing deal, company or contact directly inside Hubspot

Clicking the 'Create New Document' button will fire up Better Proposals and pull in the required information automatically.
